Inspections Module: Searching the Code Organizer

Purpose

  1. To explain how to use the search option in Code Organizer.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Inspection > Code Organizer.




  2. At the top of the page you will see the Code Organizer Search fields.



    NOTE: In the Search Box there are many options to search for a code.  Is is best practice to fill out as much as possible to narrow down your search


  3. When selecting the Code Set, you will see a drop down menu for set of codes in your system. Select the check box next to the code(s) set you would like to use. 





  4. By clicking Edition Year, a drop down will appear with the edition year(s) available for the code selected. Select the desired year you would like to filter for.

                       





  5. If desired, enter a Chapter #.



  6. Click on the Chapter Title and the drop down will appear with a selections of names of the chapters.




  7. Enter the Section # (if known).


  8. Enter the Section Title (if known)



  9. Enter the Subsection # (if known).


  10. Enter the Subsection Title (if known).


  11.  Enter the Code # (if known).



  12. Enter the Code Paragraph Title (if known).



  13. Select the Status of the Code as Active or Inactive.




  14. Enter any Tags that have been added to the Code.



  15. If needed, type in the Code Description.



  16. Navigate to and select the  button.
