Starting a Scheduled Inspection

Starting a Scheduled Inspection

Purpose Statement

This article demonstrates the multiple locations within the Fire/EMS software platform where users can initiate a scheduled inspection. Understanding these various entry points helps inspectors efficiently access and begin their assigned inspections from different workflows and interface views, improving overall inspection productivity and ensuring no scheduled inspections are missed.

Background Information

The platform provides eight different pathways for starting scheduled inspections, designed to accommodate various user workflows and preferences. Whether working from desktop, progressive web app, or mobile device, inspectors can access their assigned inspections through list views, maps, organizers, or directly from occupancy records. This flexibility ensures inspectors can work efficiently regardless of their preferred interface or current location in the system.

Required Permissions

  • Fire Prevention Inspector - Required to access and perform inspections
