Resuming an Inspection

Resuming an Inspection

Purpose Statement

To guide users through the process of resuming an In Progress inspection within the Fire/EMS software platform. This feature allows inspectors to continue work on partially completed inspections, ensuring continuity and preventing data loss when inspections cannot be completed in a single session.

Background Information

Fire and EMS personnel often encounter situations where inspections cannot be completed in one visit due to time constraints, missing documentation, or property access issues. The Resume Inspection feature maintains all previously entered data and allows inspectors to pick up exactly where they left off, improving efficiency and ensuring thorough documentation compliance.

Required Permissions

  • Inspection Access: Ability to view and access inspection records
  • Inspection Editing: Permission to modify and update inspection data
