New Features
What: Ability to view regional preplan layers.
Why: This new functionality allows users that utilize the Mobile App to view higher level preplan information for a more complete preplan experience.
How: While regional preplan is set up through the web side of First Due, viewing it on mobile is as easy as selecting Map Layers and then selecting the regional preplan layers the user wishes to view or hide.
NOTE: Regional Pre-Planning is still in BETA testing.
What: Fire Investigations section added to app menu in Android.
Why: Now the Android user can utilize the Investigations module from the app
How: No special steps needed.
Feature Enhancements
What: Several enhancements to the incident screen.
1 - For iOS: the ability to close windows on screens utilizing the "X"
2 - Reduced the "empty space" to make information more accessible.
3 - Brought over from Web Responder is the ability to click the "pop out" icon so that area opens in a magnified text pop-out window,
How: Simply use the selections mentioned to utilize the functionality.
What: Updated home screen app icons for iOS that obey the light or dark mode of the device.
What: Ability to have separate status buttons for a user or a unit user.
How: From the First Due web, go to: Response > Responder Setup > Responder Status
Here the administrator of the account can define what they want the Unit and User status buttons to read and map independently. ePCR Response Mapping is for a future enhancement that has not yet been deployed.
Use Case: In the case where the jurisdiction has firefighter users who need to status "To Station" and "To Scene" for time recording and visibility on the map, but the apparatus (Unit) users have "Responding", "On Scene" and "In Service" times populating, this new functionality allows the differently defined buttons to be present.

What: The link between the Units menu and list and the Unit Location Icons have been separated in Android.
Why: Clients wanted the ability to view the Units List regardless if they chose to see the Unit Location Icons on the map.
How: No workflow change. The Units tab will now populate and be accessible on the bottom of the app screen regardless if Responder Locations is enabled or disabled in: Map > Map Options > Map Layers > Responder Locations.
What: In some accounts, users that tried to download offline maps would receive an error..
Fix: If they experienced an error when trying to download offline maps through: Menu > App Settings > Offline Map Settings, those users can now download their offline maps without error.
What: In some accounts with ArcGIS map layers for traffic cameras, the hyperlinks to the cameras were not able to be accessed.
Fix: Users can now access the hyperlinks by selecting the traffic cam and selecting the link.
What: In Android, when a user status' "To Station" in the incident, the banner that appears now has the address of the Station they have chosen instead of the dispatched location.
How:No changes necessary on the user or admin side.
Use Case: After the user status' "To Station", they will now see the Station address populate in the Header Bar.
