NERIS Documentation - Civilian Casualty

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to assist with the documentation of a Civilian Casualty within a fire incident report.

Directions


1. Navigate to the People Involved section to begin documentation.

2. You can enter persons involved by selecting the +Add button or if this occupancy has contacts added within the Occupancy record utilize the expand arrow and select Add from Occupancy.





3. From the modal select the Civilian, EMS Patient then the Casualty tab will become enabled to select.

4. From the Casualty tab you are able to document using the dropdown fields or list view.
  1. Document any pertinent fields that apply to the Casualty record.

5. When using dropdown list on multiselect fields select all that apply then click anywhere outside to apply choices.

6. If using the list view on multiselect fields select the choices then select Apply.

7. The toggle option is a True/False, Yes/No answer to the question.
  1. No other fields populate when enabled.

9. To document Time fields select in the field.

10. Now enter Date, Time or select Today to apply current date then select Apply.

Note when selecting any fields type or use the numeric pad that populates.
  1. MM - Month will populate to choose from, DD - will populate Day, YYYY - populates Year.
  2. This is the same for Time but Hours, Minutes and seconds can be entered.

11. Continue scrolling and documenting any pertinent information.

12. Both toggles do not populate any additional fields when enabled but indicates a True/False, Yes/No answer.





13. When completed select Save.
