What
The unused Pin Only option has been removed from Medications Signature Settings. This option is no longer available in the configuration, simplifying the signature setup experience.
Why
Removing unused configuration options reduces confusion and streamlines system setup. This ensures users only see relevant, supported signature methods when configuring medication workflows.
How
Navigate to Medications → Setup → Signature Settings
Review available signature options
The Pin Only option is no longer displayed
All remaining signature options function as before
Use Case
When configuring medication signature requirements, administrators now see a cleaner, more focused set of options, making it easier to select and manage the appropriate signature method without uncertainty or unused settings.

The medications list was updated to include additional medications and improve naming clarity for existing entries. Several new medications and forms were added, and select medications were relabeled for consistency and easier identification. Hydroxocobalamin was updated to display its common brand name as Hydroxocobalamin (CYANOKIT).
Why
Keeping medication names accurate and recognizable helps reduce confusion during documentation and improves consistency with commonly used terminology. Adding new medications and refining existing labels ensures the list better reflects real-world usage and supports more accurate medical records.
How
Navigate to Medications
Review the updated medication list
Newly added medications are available for selection
Existing medications reflect updated naming conventions
Hydroxocobalamin now appears as Hydroxocobalamin (CYANOKIT)
Transfusion of whole blood changed to Whole Blood

Use Case
When documenting patient care, users can quickly identify and select medications using familiar names, including widely recognized brand references like CYANOKIT, while also benefiting from an expanded and more accurate medication list for common treatments.
What
The New Medication modal was enhanced to improve readability and usability when selecting medications. The modal now opens with larger dimensions, and the Medication Name dropdown displays more characters within the field. Hover tooltips were added to show full medication names with clear formatting, making longer names easier to review and select.
Why
Medication names can be lengthy, and limited field space previously made them difficult to read and distinguish. These improvements reduce selection errors, improve accessibility, and create a more user-friendly experience across devices.

Navigate to Medications → Add New Medication
Review the expanded New Medication modal
The modal opens with increased width for improved visibility
Use the Medication Name dropdown
More characters are visible directly in the dropdown field
Hover over an option to view the full medication name in a tooltip
Navigate options using keyboard arrow keys
Access the modal on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices
Layout and interactions adjust automatically for screen size
Use Case
When adding a new medication with a long or similar name, users can clearly read the full medication title directly in the dropdown or via hover, confidently selecting the correct option without trial and error or misinterpretation.
What
The New Medication modal was redesigned to improve layout, responsiveness, and overall usability. The modal now fits properly within the visible screen area, supports internal scrolling when needed, and remains centered on the page. Background content is locked while the modal is open, ensuring a focused and consistent user experience.
Why
The previous modal design could exceed the visible screen area on some devices, making it difficult to use and causing unintended background scrolling or zoom behavior. These updates ensure a smoother, more predictable interaction across devices and prevent visual or usability issues during medication entry.
How
Navigate to Medications → Add New Medication
Review the redesigned modal behavior
Modal fits within the viewport or enables internal scrolling as needed
Only modal content scrolls while the background page remains locked
The modal stays centered on the screen
No automatic focus is applied to the Medication Name field
iOS devices no longer trigger auto-zoom when selecting the search field
Close the modal to restore normal page scrolling
Use Case
When adding a new medication on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device, users can complete the form comfortably without losing context, accidental background scrolling, or disruptive zoom behavior, resulting in a cleaner and more reliable data entry experience.

What
Medication serial numbers are now displayed in correct sequential order within each individual medication type. A new sorting approach ensures serial numbers appear in ascending, alphanumeric sequence, regardless of associated lot numbers or expiration dates, and remains consistent across all system views.

Serial numbers are grouped by medication type
Display order follows correct alphanumeric sequencing
Sorting remains accurate after filtering or searching
Add new serial numbers
The list dynamically reorders to maintain sequential order
Use Case
When auditing medication inventory or checking serialized items, users can quickly scan serial numbers in logical order without being affected by lot numbers or expiration dates, ensuring faster reviews and more reliable inventory management.
