
What - The Incident Details view has been updated so the Units section now shows a concise, easy-to-scan list of responding units while still allowing quick access to the full roster. Up to three lines of units are displayed by default in the Units section, and when more units are dispatched than will fit in that space, a blue “+NNN more” pill appears as the last item, mirroring the behavior used in Units within Call History. Tapping this pill opens the full units list for that incident, and the number of visible unit lines is configurable within the application so it can be tuned in future releases based on user feedback.
Why - This change helps keep the Incident Details view readable and focused, especially during complex events that involve many responding units. Instead of forcing users to scroll through long unit lists that can crowd out other critical information, the condensed view surfaces the most relevant units at a glance while still providing a one-tap path to see every dispatched unit when deeper detail is needed. This improves situational awareness and reduces visual clutter without sacrificing access to complete unit information.
How
From the main incidents list, open an incident to view Incident Details.
Locate the Units section within the incident.
Review the units shown in the first few lines; up to three lines of units are displayed by default.
If additional units are assigned, tap the blue “+NNN more” pill at the end of the list to open and review the full units list.
Note: The exact number of visible unit lines is managed in the configuration by the development team and may be adjusted in future releases based on user feedback.
Use Case - During a large incident with many responding units (for example, multiple engines, ambulances, and support vehicles), a dispatcher or field supervisor can quickly glance at the Units section to see the primary responders without being overwhelmed by a long list. If they need to confirm whether a specific specialty unit is on the call, they simply tap the “+NNN more” pill to expand and view all units, then return to monitoring other incident details without excessive scrolling.
What – Users can now view the full message history in any chat group. Previously, only the most recent 25 messages were displayed, which limited context for ongoing conversations. After this fix, all available chat messages for a given chat group load and display correctly, and all other existing chat features continue to behave as expected.
Why – Access to complete message history is essential for maintaining continuity during multi-person or multi-shift communications. This fix ensures users can reference older messages without losing important context or needing to rely on external notes.
How
Open any chat group.
Scroll upward to load older messages.
All historic messages for the chat group will now be visible instead of stopping at 25 messages.
No changes were made to existing chat behaviors such as sending, receiving, or notifications.
Use Case – A supervisor reviewing activity from earlier in the day can now scroll back through the entire conversation to understand decisions, updates, or instructions shared before their shift began—without any gaps in chat history.
