New Features
Exit Warning when navigating from Webview Modules
What: When a user is in a webview module such as ePCR or NFIRS/NERIS and the user selects "Menu", there is now a confirmation pop-up that populates.
Why: It is discovered that, when the user is in a webview module and navigates to a different module or menu within the same module, data was being lost.
Unit Dispatch Acknowledgement modal for Unit Users
What: When a specified unit user is dispatched on an incident, a modal populates that must be acknowledged or dismissed prior to allowing any other activity on the app.
Why: Users asked that when their unit user is dispatched, that First Due provide definitive alerting and visual confirmation of an incident that cannot be ignored.
How: The functionality must be enabled by the IM or CSM on the backend and then the unit user must be associated with an apparatus.
Feature Enhancements
- What: Updated labels in Assets module of the app from "Checks" to "Overview" and added "Location Overview".
- Why: Brings the mobile app in-line with verbiage elsewhere in the First Due system.
Place Name Display Enhancement
- What: When available, the place name no longer truncates when the the text exceeds the line length. Now the place name continues on the next line.
- Why: Ensures the user is able to see the entire text of the place name.
Hydrant Details Popout Enhancement
What: There is now a "popout" button when looking at hydrant details.
Why: When the user selects the nearest hydrants from the incident, the button for "Open larger window" magnifies the text in a new window to make it easier to read.
Fixes
Chat Message count visibility
- There was an issue where the chat count badge was hidden by other screen elements. This has been fixed.
ArcGIS map issue
- There was a bug reported where, when the user switches to ArcGIS satellite or restarts the app in ArcGIS satellite map, the map defaults to the Gulf of Guinea (Lat: 0, Long: 0). This has been resolved.
