The purpose of this article is to inform users how to create an inventory group in the First Due system. Inventory grouping allows users to "group" or categorize inventory so that it can be easily located within the First Due system.

Directions
1. Click on Assets.
2. Click on Setup.
3. Click on Inventory.
4. Click on New Inventory Group.
5. Type the name of the new inventory group.
6. Enter a description the inventory group in the Description field.
7. Assign the appropriate inventory to the newly created inventory group.
8. Click on Save.
9. The new inventory group will now be visible in the Inventory Group Name list.
