Kits: Creating a Kit Group

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to inform users how to create a kit group in the First Due system.  Kit grouping allows users to "group" or categorize kits so that they can be easily located within the system.

Directions


1. Click on Assets.


Click on Assets



2. Click on Setup.


Click on Setup



3. Click on Kit Groups.






4. Click on New Kit Group.






5. Name the new kit group.





6. Use the Description field to describe the grouping.





7. To assign kits to the new group, access the dropdown menu in the kit field.






8. Select the kit(s) that are to be assigned to the group.






9. Click on Save.






10. The newly created group will now be listed in the Kit Group list.
