Hydrant Service Accountability Tracking

  • What: New "Completed By" question type for hydrant service checklists enabling organizations to track which specific user performed service tests
  • Why: Provides audit trails and accountability for hydrant service operations, particularly important when users are logged in under shared Unit User accounts
  • How: Admin adds "Completed By" question type to hydrant service checklist, field technicians select their name from active users dropdown
  • Use Case: Fire departments can track which specific technician completed each hydrant service test, enabling proper follow-up and maintaining comprehensive audit trails for compliance and accountability

Complete Hydrant Map Information Display

  • What: Enhanced Hydrant Detail panel to display all available hydrant data fields in read-only mode, regardless of Hydrant Set-Up configuration
  • Why: Ensures field personnel have immediate access to comprehensive hydrant information during emergency operations without configuration limitations
  • How: All hydrant fields automatically display in Detail panel when viewing hydrants on the map, with configuration independence from Hydrant Set-Up selections
  • Use Case: Firefighters in the field can access complete hydrant information immediately without navigating away from the map or requiring configuration changes for better-informed emergency response decisions

Unified Hydrant Editing Workflow

  • What: Standardized hydrant editing by directing all edit actions to the Hydrant Map with full editing capabilities, eliminating inconsistent behaviors across different UI locations
  • Why: Removes user confusion from multiple edit interfaces and provides consistent workflow with access to both detail editing and location moving in one place
  • How: All hydrant edit actions from responder or Hydrant map now redirect to Hydrant Map with selected hydrant centered and edit mode automatically activated
  • Use Case: Fire department personnel can use a single, consistent interface for all hydrant editing tasks regardless of entry point, reducing training requirements and increasing operational efficiency
