Business Portal - How to Buy ITM Credits

Purpose Statement

Learn how to purchase ITM credits using Stripe payment processing, view your complete transaction history, and access automated receipts for your records. This feature enables service providers to maintain adequate credit balances for ITM report submissions, track spending patterns, and manage financial documentation for billing and accounting purposes.

Background Information

The Business Portal uses a credit-based system for ITM report submissions. Service providers must maintain a credit balance to submit reports to their linked AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction). Each ITM submission consumes credits based on the AHJ's pricing structure.
The credit purchase system integrates with Stripe, a secure payment processing platform, to handle all transactions.

This ensures:
  1. Secure credit card processing with industry-standard encryption
  2. Immediate credit availability after successful purchase
  3. Automated receipt generation for accounting purposes
  4. Complete transaction history tracking for both purchases and usage

The transaction history feature provides full visibility into your credit activity, showing both when credits are purchased and when they're consumed through ITM submissions. This transparency helps service providers budget effectively and maintain compliance with their own accounting requirements.
