The purpose of this article is to inform users how to copy/duplicate an existing equipment item in the First Due system for the convenient creation of a new equipment item.
Idea: Copying/Duplicating equipment is a useful way to enter multiple pieces of the same or similar equipment into the First Due system.

Directions
1. Click on Assets.
2. Click on Equipment List.
3. Locate the equipment item to duplicate.
4. Click on the Copy icon in the Actions column.
5. Enter the new equipment ID, equipment name, and description then, Select Copy.
Equipment Name and Description are Optional.
6. The new equipment has now been created and can be managed in the First Due system.
