Completing a Hydrant Work Order from a Service Checklist

Purpose

To demonstrate how to complete a Hydrant Work Order from inside a Service Checklist, including the automatic summary.

Instructions



1. Use the Hydrant Map or the Hydrant List to select the Hydrant that you want to service. Select 'Service Hydrant'. Then choose the type of checklist you want to use. Your agency may have one or more checklist types.

2. Answer the questions in the checklist as you perform the service check on the hydrant. Take note of any failures that require a work order.

3. Click on Complete and Work Order to finish and save your service checklist and open up the summary for the work order.

4. The right-side column will include all items that have "Summary Inclusion" toggled on when this checklist was created in setup.






5. Select any items that you do not want included in the work order and click the remove button to move them back to the left-handed column.

You can also select any items not defaulted in the summary in the left side column and move them onto the work order summary the same way.

6. Confirm you want to remove the item from the right column.

7. Click on save to save the summary and open the work order.

8. Once inside the new work order, you will notice the Summary is already completed from the items on your checklist.

9. Fill in any remaining required information for the work order and click Save in the upper right-hand corner.

10. Once you save the work order you will be offered a choice to place this Hydrant out of service or to leave it in service.
