Purpose
- To explain the Response Breakdown Report for the Incident Documentation module.
How is this report helpful?
- It provides a high level look at incident count by Dispatches mapped to NFIRS Incident Types (NFIRS 100, 200, 300, etc series incidents).
- This report answers the question: "What were we dispatched to?"
- The data source for this report is the Dispatch Type from the Response Module.
- Excellent for presentation to stakeholders, decision-makers, and the community, as well as for comparison to the "Incident Type Breakdown" canned report.
- By selecting "All Data" within the report, the table view provides the following elements:
- Dispatch Address
- Dispatch Type
- Dispatch Date/Time
- Incident Type

Instructions
- Navigate to Reports > Incidents.
- The default report is Response Breakdown. This report automatically loads.
- The default Date Interval is the Last 6 Calendar Months.
- Select Advanced Search to modify the Date Interval.
- The following are options for the Date Interval filter:

to enter focus view (enlarges chart to full screen).
- Select
to download the chart to a .png file for further sharing.
- Select "All Data" to view the table view.
- Select a "Page" button to navigate to a specific page.
- Select a "View Count" button to display selected number of rows on a single page view.

to download the report into a CSV file.

If a portion of your report shows as Not Mapped, additional steps should be taken. Navigate to Response > Dispatch Incident Types and ensure all items have a corresponding NFIRS code associated.
