Required Permissions

Step-by-Step Guide
Configure Life Hazard Use Fields in Field Management
- Navigate to Admin > Field Management.
- Use the search bar and type Life.
Locate the following fields:
- Life Hazard Group
- Registration Number
- Use
Use Notes
- To modify a field label:
- Select the Edit Pencil icon.
- Update the field label as needed.
- Select Save.
- Configure permissions for each role for Life Hazard Group:
- Hide
- Read
- Update
- Required Validation
- Enable the Required Validation toggle if users must complete the field before saving.
Create or Manage Life Hazard Use Codes
- In Field Management, open the Life Hazard Use field.
- Add a new code by entering:
- Code
- Description
- Select Save.
- Existing codes can be:
- Edited
- Archived
- Deleted (only if not currently in use)
- If a code is already associated with an occupancy, it can only be archived.
Access an Occupancy Record
Users can access occupancy records from multiple locations:
- Pre-Planning > Pre-Plan Organizer
- Pre-Planning > My Pre-Plans
- Inspections > Organizer
- Inspections > Inspections List
- Inspections > My Inspections
- Open the desired occupancy record.
- Navigate to the Occupancy section.
- Open the Demographics area.
- Scroll to the Life Hazard Use section.
Add a Life Hazard Use to an Occupancy
- Select the Plus (+) icon to add a new life hazard use entry.
- Enter the required Registration Number.
- Select a Life Hazard Use from the dropdown list.
- Add any applicable notes in the Notes field.
- Repeat the process if multiple life hazard classifications are required for the occupancy.
- Select Save before leaving the occupancy record.
Delete Life Hazard Uses
- Users can delete newly created entries.
- Once a life hazard use is associated with occupancy data, it can only be archived in Field Management.
