Setting up Preventative Maintenance for Apparatus

- The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to setup Preventative Maintenance for Apparatus.

Instructions
1. There are three places to add Preventative Maintenance for Apparatus in the Assets module.
- Select Setup in the Assets Module then the Preventative Maintenance tab
- Select Preventative Maintenance in the Assets Module
- Edit the Apparatus record in the Apparatus List and select Preventative Maintenance
2. Once you have accessed Preventative Maintenace from one of those areas, click on Add Maintenance
3. Preventative Maintenance work orders can be generated based of a scheduled time frame and or a triggering event
4. If applicable, select the timeframe you want the schedule to be based on
5. The Add condition allows users to add an OR condition
6. Select the item for the trigger
7. Type in the value
The actions in steps 4 and 7 will be based off of the date and odometer/gauge reading at the time of the operation. Please refer to the related article "How to Schedule or Change Preventative Maintenance Cycles for Individual Apparatus" if the Apparatus is in the middle of the PM cycle. (link at the top of this article)
8. Select the work order to be generated
This dropdown list is generated from the existing Work Order Types from the Work Order Boards in the account
9. Select the Apparatus this will apply to
Users are able to select more than one Apparatus if needed
10. Click on Save
