In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.
New Features
1. Med Kit view with an Unassigned Meds warning.
If a med kit does not have any pouches created, all medications are shown as Unassigned Meds by default.
Once the Pouches have been configured with their respective medication forms:
If in the Med Kit, existing medications match the configured ones, they are placed in the corresponding pouches.
If in the Med Kit, medications that are not in the pouch configuration do not exist, they are not displayed until a Receive/Transfer action is performed with them.
In the Med Kit, all those medications that are not in the pouch configuration will be placed in Unassigned Meds section.
In the Receive process, if you receive one or more medications that are not in the med kit pouches configuration, they are assigned directly to Unassigned Med section.
2. Creating pouches within Med Kits.
Added the ability to organize medications within Med Kits.
When you create or edit an existing Med Kit from the Med Kit List there will be a new tab at the top labeled Pouches.
From the Pouch tab you will be able to:
Create a new pouch
Edit the name of the pouch
Delete a pouch
Add or Remove Medications
Set a minimum amount for that medication
Move a medication from one pouch to another pouch.
3. The ability to import medication Usage from ePCR.
There is a new option to the source menu labeled EPCR while in the Usage modal in the Medications module.
This option is only available to those agencies that have the ePCR module enabled.
The user can search by the Patient Name (This could be either first or last name).
The result will display the last 30 days of Patient Care Reports.
When a report is selected:
If in the selected report there were registered medications that are not in the Med Kit, in the Available medications panel, the list of medications from the Med Kit will be shown.
If in the selected report there were registered some medications that coincide in the Med Kit, in the Available medications panel, only those medications that are common in both will be shown in the list.
If no medications were registered in the selected report, in the Available medications panel, the list of the Med Kit's own medications will be displayed.
Please refer to the related articles below for more information:
1. Allow users to transfer Medications from any Med Kit into Med Supply.
We updated the Med Kit Transfer Modal to include Med Supply as a transfer destination option.
The Med Kit Transfer Modal includes Med Supply as a destination option alongside other Med Kits.
Users with Transfer permissions are be able to select Med Supply as a transfer destination when initiating a transfer from a Med Kit.
After a successful transfer to Med Supply, the medication quantities will be updated correctly in both the source Med Kit and the destination Med Supply.
The transfer history will accurately reflect transfers made from Med Kit to Med Supply within Med Log.
2. Developed a more mobile (web based) friendly Medications Dashboard.
This is for use of web based mobile and not on the First Due app.
The dashboard shall contain the three basic components on the web version dashboard:
The Select Locations function.
Allows to filter kits in the Counts section.
The Count section.
View and start a count on any selected kits.
View completed counts.
The Usage section.
Navigate to Usage by using the dropdown from Counts or the arrow.
Document medication usage.
View any medication usages.
3. Red banner warning has been removed from Med Kits.
The red banner has been changed to blue with warning icon still present.
The warning language has been removed.
Now if all medications have been assigned in a pouch and no medications left unassigned this section will be hidden.
Fixes
1. Fixed the Lot Number and Expiration Date filters.
The Lot Number and Expiration Dates were not filtering even if there were medications matching those filters.
