In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.

New Features

  1. What: Added Reinspection Number to Advanced Search on Inspections List and My Inspections Pages.

  2. Why: Use the filter to find reinspection's by the reinspection number.

  3. How: Multi select list used in conjunction with Is Reinspection (Yes or No) filter.

  4. Use Case: When searching for Reinspection's, use the filter to find reinspection's by the reinspection number.

 Added Global Settings for Inspections


Control Linked Permits (#1)
  1. What: Provided toggle in Inspection Setup to toggle on or off to control "All Linked Permits" by default when sending an Inspection Report.

  2. Why: An Inspector may add multiple permits while conducting an Inspection.  The feature reduces steps for the Inspector and reduces possible mistakes.

  3. How: Toggle "On" or "Off" for the feature on the Inspection Setup > System Options page.

Use Multi Permit Form by Default #2)
  1. What: Toggle to allow the Fire Dept user to control when the multi permit option is on be default.

  2. Why: Permits will use the multi-permit form by default when the user selects “Include Linked Reports.”

  3. How: Toggle "On" or "Off" for the feature to be set by default.

Occupancy Log

  1. What: Added an Occupancy Log to the Occupancy Record.

  2. Why: Gives users the ability add information to an Occupancy Record without recording an Inspection.

  3. How: Navigate to an Occupancy Record > select the Log Section and enter the information.

  4. Use Case: Enter information from meetings, phone calls, etc. with an Occupancy contact in regards to an Occupancy without recording an Inspection.

Feature Enhancements

Custom Sent From Name for Emailing Inspection Reports

  1. What: Allow the use of a Custom Sent From Name for Emailing Inspection Reports

  2. Why: Provide an option to use a custom sender name (text field) when sending an inspection via email. 

  3. How: Use custom sender name” with a toggle on the Inspection Type > Email tab and enter the Custom Name.  When the toggle is OFF the email “sender name” will be the logged-in user.  When the toggle is ON a field will appear to allow the user to enter a custom name. The default shown in the field should be “No-Reply.”  Example: they can change it from “No-Reply” to “Inspection Email”.

  4. Use Case: As a user I need the ability to change the email sent from name when an inspection is emailed to a customer.
