Inspection Data Sharing

Inspection Data Sharing

Purpose Statement

The Inspection Data Sharing feature enables Fire/EMS departments to share inspection data with other First Due clients, allowing authorized users to view in-progress and completed inspections across organizational boundaries. This feature promotes collaboration between departments while maintaining data security through controlled access permissions.

Background Information

Inspection Data Sharing is particularly valuable for mutual aid scenarios, multi-jurisdictional operations, or when departments need to coordinate inspection activities across service areas. This feature requires active data sharing capabilities in both client accounts and provides view-only access to maintain data integrity while enabling necessary collaboration.
