Purpose

  1. To explain how to create a Historical Permit Type on the First Due Platform

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Historic Permits Module

Users will need to have the correct permissions to access.

2. Select Permit Types


Select Permit Types



3. This will bring up the Permit Types page.

Here is where you can edit an already existing or start a new permit type.

4. Users can search the Historical Permits by using the Advanced Search feature at the top of the page if needed.

5. To Create a New Permit Type select New Permit Type

6. Enter the Permit Group (required)

7. Enter the Code (required)

8. Enter a Name (required)

9. Users can add a description for the New Permit Type

10. Users can select an Icon to be associated with this permit type.

11. Enter the Issue Date Within Last Days

Users can then choose from the other options under the sections to automate the beginning and ending of the permit.

12. Enter Days to expire from Start Date

13. Enter Expiration Hour and the Time Zone

Users can select from the options below this section to select if there is a permit is required, if the permit needs approval, or if you want set the issue date when its approved

14. Users can enter any notes that are specific to this Permit Type

15. Users can enter the Terms of Use for this Permit Type

16. First Due has given Users the option to add additional sections and questions to their Historical Permit Type if needed

17. Select if you would like your permit to be Burn Ban Governed and if you want it Active in your system.

18. Once complete, select Create
