This feature allows authorized users to modify the scheduled or completed dates of inspections to reflect accurate historical records. Backdating inspections is essential for maintaining compliance documentation when inspections are completed after their original scheduled date or when correcting administrative errors in inspection records.

Required Permissions

The user role must have the "Inspection - Backdate" permission enabled to access this functionality. Contact your system administrator if you need this permission added to your role.

Step-by-Step Guide




1. Click on Inspections > Inspections List. 






2. Click on Start an Inspection.


Click on Start an Inspection.



3. Click on Scheduled Date or Completed Date.
  • You will then have the ability to backdate when this inspection was scheduled or completed.
  • When done, complete the inspection in the same manner you would normally.


Click on Scheduled Date or Completed Date.
