Integration of Samsara services with First Due is a paid upgrade. As such, the feature and steps described are available within upgraded accounts. Those who wish to inquire further regarding Samsara integration are encouraged to reach out their respective sales representative. Thank you!
1. From the Assets module, click on Setup.
2. Ensure you are in the Settings tab.
3. Select the toggle to Enable Samsara services integration
4. Enter the access token from Samsara.
5. Select Save.
6. Apparatus Samsara IDs now need to be entered into the apparatus record.
PRO TIP: Selecting the magnifying glass will find the Samsara ID of the matching VIN number in the First Due and Samsara apparatus records.
9. Select Save.
At this time, Samsara integration will update the engine hours and odometer reading of an apparatus equipped with a valid Samsara device, every 12 hours, at noon and midnight. First Due is developing more exciting features utilizing Samsara that will be released in future feature releases.
