Creating Apparatus Compartments

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to create Apparatus Compartments.

Instruction


1. Click on Assets


Click on Assets



2. Click on Apparatus Checks


Click on Apparatus Checks



3. Click on the desired apparatus.


Click on the desired apparatus.



4. Click on Compartments.


Click on Compartments.



5. Click on New Compartment.


Click on New Compartment.



6. Name the Compartment..


Name the Compartment..



7. If you want to include this compartment to any available apparatus checklist(s), you may select them at this time.

8. If copying Inventory from another apparatus compartment, select Compartment to Copy, then select the compartment you want to copy.


If copying Inventory from another apparatus compartment, compartment to copy, then select the compartment you want to copy.



9. The Inventory assigned to that Compartment will be displayed. Remove any items you do not want to copy by selecting the trash can.
Only inventory can be copied from one storage location to another, NOT equipment.


Select which inventory items you want to copy from that location



10. Select Save to confirm that you want to save your action.






11. Inside the Inventory tab, update the quantity of this inventory item you want in the new compartment.  If applicable, update values marked with an (*)
The quantity of items entered is NOT reducing the quantity from the storage you chose to copy.


Inside the Inventory tab, update the quantity of this inventory item you want in the new storage.



12. Click on Save


Click on Save
