  1. To explain how to set a Recurring Event within the Activities module from the Event List.

Instructions



1. Navigate to the Activities Module, and select Event List.







2. Click on Create New Event.

3. Enter in the descriptive details about your event. Then use the toggle button under "Is recurrent event?" to make this event repeat on a schedule in the future.







4. Set the Start date of the first occurrence and the start time of your event.

5. You must enter an end date for this event. This tells the system how many times to repeat the event. It will not repeat indefinitely.


The end date does not have to be a day that your event occurs on. It just needs to be a future date that your event will run through. Changing the year to 1-3 years in the future is an easy, quick option.

6. Set the end time for your event. This example event will now occur from 8:00am to 10:00am in each occurrence.






7. Select how often you want the event to repeat from the Recurrence Type drop-down menu. Each option will open up more sections to customize your recurrence specifically.

8. Under the Custom Monthly option you can select which day of the week and how often.

9. Under the Recurrence Type for Custom you can specify the number of days to use in your grouping, and then highlight the days the event is to occur on. This helps with events that need to take place on shift rotations.

10. When finished entering in all of the details of your event, click Save to create it. It will now show on the calendar and in the events list.
