Agency View provides organizations with a condensed view of daily staffing without requiring users to continuously scroll through the Shift Board. Staffing can be organized by configured divisions or districts, allowing users to quickly review staffing levels, identify understaffing, and see assignments requiring specific qualifiers.

Agency View is available from Scheduling → Agency View.
It is designed to provide a summarized view of staffing across larger organizations. Depending on the organization's Scheduling configuration, staffing can be displayed by:
- Division
- District
The organizational structure displayed in Agency View is configured within the Setup section of the Scheduling module.
Agency View can display:
- The rotation scheduled for the selected day
- Current staffing compared with required staffing
- Understaffed areas
- Personnel assigned within the organizational hierarchy
- Assignments that are below their staffing requirements
- Required qualifiers associated with an assignment
- Assignments that are not associated with the configured hierarchy
Required Permissions
The following permission is applicable to accessing this feature:
- Access Scheduling — Allows the user to access the Scheduling module.
- Scheduling - Shift Board - View Agency Level View: Allows access to Agency View
The following permission may also be relevant when viewing additional information from Scheduling entries:
- Show hover for additional details — Allows a user to hover over a Shift Board entry to view additional details.

Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to Agency View
- Click the First Due logo.
- Select Scheduling.
- Select Agency View.
- The staffing view for the selected day will appear.
Review Staffing by Division or District
- Review the organizational groups displayed on the page.
- Agency View can organize staffing by Division or District, depending on the organization's configuration.
- Review the rotation scheduled for the selected day.
- Review the displayed staffing total.
For example, a staffing value displayed as 40 of 43 indicates that 40 personnel are currently staffing positions where 43 are required.
Identify Understaffing
- Review the staffing indicators for each organizational group.
- Agency View identifies when staffing is below the required level.
- Review individual assignments to determine where staffing deficiencies exist.
View Personnel Information
- Click the individual to view available information associated with that person.
Review Assignments Requiring Personnel
- Locate assignments that are below their required staffing level.
- Hover over the applicable assignment.
- Review the qualifier required for that assignment.
This can help determine the type of qualified personnel needed to address the staffing deficiency.
Review the Not in Hierarchy Section
- Scroll to the Not in Hierarchy section.
- Review assignments that are not associated with the configured organizational hierarchy.
An assignment may appear in this section when it is not assigned to a configured district, station, or other applicable hierarchy level.
Change the Selected Day
- Use the navigation arrows to move between days.
Select a Date from the Calendar
- Click the Calendar.
- Navigate to the desired month or year.
- Select the date you want to review.
Return to the Current Day
- If you are viewing another date, select Go to Today or Today.
- Agency View will return to the current day's staffing information.

- Use Agency View when a summarized staffing overview is more useful than reviewing the entire Shift Board.
- Confirm that divisions, districts, stations, and assignments are properly configured so personnel appear within the intended hierarchy.
- Review understaffed assignments and their required qualifiers when determining where additional personnel are needed.
