Purpose Statement
Evaluation Types in First Due allow agencies to review, manage, and complete structured evaluations for assigned members. This process helps training staff and evaluators access evaluation details, review checklist items, notify evaluators, print field-ready checklists, and complete or view evaluations from one centralized location.
Background Information
Evaluation Types are managed from the Evaluation Library within the Evaluations area of First Due. From the Evaluation Type view, users can review the configuration and assigned personnel connected to a specific evaluation.
This view provides access to key evaluation information, including:
- General evaluation details
- Checklist items
- Attachments
- Assigned evaluators
- Assigned members
- Evaluation status
- Print, evaluate, and view options
Evaluation Types are commonly used for field evaluations, skills checkoffs, training standards, competency reviews, and other agency-defined assessment workflows.
Required Permissions
Users must have the appropriate Evaluations permissions enabled to access and manage Evaluation Types.
Permission names may vary by agency configuration. If a user cannot access the Evaluation Library, view an Evaluation Type, edit details, or perform evaluations, confirm their role and permissions with an agency administrator.
