Message Deletion Logging Restored
- What - Fixed an issue where deleted messages were not recorded in the Scheduling System Log, ensuring all deletion actions are now tracked.
- Why - Missing logs created gaps in audit trails, reducing accountability and traceability of communication changes.
- How
- Navigate to Messaging → Delete a message
- Then go to Scheduling System Log
- Verify the deletion entry is recorded
- Note:
- Applies to all message deletion actions
- Use Case - Supervisors can now review message deletion history to ensure proper communication management and compliance with operational policies.
Inactive Users Removed from Chat User Selection
- What - Resolved an issue where inactive users appeared in the “Available Users” dropdown when creating restricted chat groups.
- Why - Including inactive users led to confusion and potential misconfiguration of communication groups.
- How
- Navigate to Messaging → Create Chat → Limit by users
- Open the Available Users dropdown
- Confirm only active users are listed
- Note:
- Applies across all chat configuration workflows
- Use Case - When creating a targeted communication group for an incident, only active personnel are selectable, ensuring messages reach the intended audience.
Messaging – “Send to All Users” Checkbox Selection Behavior
What - Fixed a user interface issue where clicking the surrounding grey area near the Send to All Users checkbox unintentionally selected the option on the Create New Message screen. The checkbox now activates only when the checkbox itself is explicitly clicked.
Why - The previous behavior could lead to accidental selection of the “Send to All Users” option, potentially sending messages to unintended recipients. Restricting the interaction area ensures users have precise control when selecting message recipients.
How
Navigate to Messaging → Create New Message
Locate the Send to All Users checkbox
Click directly on the checkbox to enable the option
Notes:
Clicking the surrounding grey area will no longer toggle the checkbox
Recipient selection must now be made intentionally
Use Case - A dispatcher is preparing a targeted message for a specific team. While navigating the message form, they click near the checkbox area but do not accidentally enable “Send to All Users.” The message is delivered only to the intended recipients, preventing unintended system-wide notifications.
