Purpose Statement
The Points Report provides a consolidated view of points earned by personnel across supported modules. It allows agencies to review, analyze, and export points data for tracking participation, performance, and compliance-related activities.

The Points Report is a canned report within the Reports module that aggregates points tracked through multiple areas of the platform. It is commonly used by administrators and supervisors to evaluate personnel participation and progress.

Each module requires setup before points will appear in the report. The report also supports configurable maximum point values and advanced filtering to tailor results.

Required Permissions
To access and use the Points Report, users must have permissions that allow them to:
Access the Reports module
View Payroll/Points reports
View Payroll Summary data across supported modules
Note: Permission availability and names may vary by agency. Administrators can review permissions under Admin → Roles & Permissions.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Navigate to the Reports Module
From the main navigation menu, click Reports.
2. Open Payroll/Points Reports
From the Reports menu, select Payroll/Points.
3. Select the Points Report
From the Report Type dropdown, select Points Report.
The report will display below the selection area.
4. Set Maximum Points (Optional)
At the top of the report, enter the maximum possible points for each section.
Click Apply.
The report will refresh and automatically calculate percent complete values.
5. Review Calculated Progress

Total points
Percentage of completion for each section
6. Refine Results Using Advanced Search
Click Advanced Search.
Select one or more filters to narrow results.
Click Search to apply the filters.
7. Export the Report
Click the Download button.
The report will download as a CSV file.

Set realistic maximum point values to ensure accurate percentage calculations.
