Purpose Statement
The Inspection Signature component allows departments to include signature information from associated inspections directly on invoice documents using the Invoicing Form Builder. This feature provides customizable signature blocks for occupancy contacts, inspectors, vendors, businesses, and custom information, helping departments maintain consistent documentation and display relevant inspection details on invoices.
Background Information
The Inspection Signature component is available within the Invoicing Form Builder and allows departments to configure multiple signature blocks on a single invoice form.
Each signature block can be customized to display specific information associated with the selected signature type. Departments can select which fields appear beneath each signature and adjust the font used for the signature block.
Five signature types are available:
- Occupancy Contact Signature: Displays signature and contact information associated with an occupancy.
- Inspector Signature: Displays inspector signature information and selected credentials.
- Vendor Signature: Displays signature and contact information associated with a vendor.
- Business Signature: Displays signature and contact information associated with a business.
- Custom: Allows departments to create a customized block containing a title, image, and additional text.
When an invoice document is generated, the Inspection Signature component displays available information associated with the selected signature types. Signature blocks without applicable information will not display on the completed document.
Note: Signatures can also be placed on printed forms within the Inspections, Permits, and Invoicing Form Builders using the Tag Block component.
