Purpose Statement
The Violations Table provides a centralized view of inspection violations, allowing users to filter, review, and export violation data efficiently. This feature helps fire prevention teams track compliance, monitor trends, and manage inspection outcomes across occupancies.
Background Information
The Violations Table is part of the Inspections module and is designed to display only relevant violations tied to specific checklist responses. Violations will appear in the table only when marked as Fail, Citation, or Corrected, and must be associated with:
- A standard response checklist item, or
- A custom checklist item mapped to a standard response
This ensures data consistency and accurate reporting for compliance and follow-up actions.
Required Permissions
Users will typically need:
- Access to the Inspections module
- Permission to view inspections and violations data
- (Optional) Permission to export data (CSV download)
Note: Exact permissions may vary by agency configuration.
