Scheduling inspections is a core function used by Fire and EMS agencies to manage occupancy compliance, inspections, and operational readiness. The platform offers five different methods to accommodate various workflows, including individual scheduling, bulk operations, and mobile access.
These methods allow users to:
- Schedule inspections directly from occupancy records
- Use grid-based workflows for efficiency
- Perform bulk scheduling operations
- Quickly schedule from list views or mobile devices
Required Permissions
Users must have the following permissions:
- Access to the Inspections Module
- Permission to View and Edit Occupancy Records
- Permission to Schedule Inspections
- Access to Inspection Organizer and Inspection List
- Mobile users require App Access with Scheduling უფლებ enabled

Step-by-Step Guide
Method 1: Schedule from an Occupancy Record
- Navigate to Inspections > Inspection Organizer.
- Select an Inspection Type and click Change.
- Open the desired Occupancy Record.
- Select the Inspections section from the occupancy record.
- Click Schedule Inspection.
- Complete the scheduling details in the dialog window.
- Click Save.
Method 2: Schedule from Inspection Organizer Grid
- Navigate to Inspections > Inspection Organizer.
- Select an Inspection Type and click Change.
- Apply Search or Advanced Search filters to locate the correct record.
- In the Next Initial Inspection Date column, click the Calendar icon.
- Complete the scheduling form. The Inspection Type will be pre-filled when using this method.
- Click Save.
Method 3: Bulk Schedule Inspections
- Navigate to Inspections > Inspection Organizer.
- Select an Inspection Type and click Change.
- Apply any needed Global Search or Advanced Search criteria.
- Select the records to schedule, or use Select All.
- Choose Bulk Operation > Schedule Inspection.
- Complete the scheduling details. The Inspection Type will be pre-filled based on the organizer selection.
- Click Save.
Method 4: Schedule from Inspections List
- Navigate to Inspections > Inspections List.
- Click Schedule an Inspection.
- Enter the Address, Inspection Type, and Date.
- Click Save.
Method 5: Schedule via Mobile App
- Open the First Due App.
- Select Inspection List from the menu.
- Tap Schedule an Inspection.
- Enter the required inspection details.
- Tap Save.
Note: Internet connectivity is required to schedule an inspection from the mobile app.
Completing the Schedule Inspection Dialog
- Review or enter the Address as needed.
- Confirm the Inspection Type. It may already be filled in depending on the scheduling method used.
- Review the Recurring Schedule if one is attached to the inspection type.
- Select the Date and Time for the inspection.
- Use one of the quick scheduling options if needed:
- Next Day
- 5 Business Days
- 10 Business Days
- 20 Business Days
- Select Will Call if the inspection should be scheduled without a set date.
- Add an Inspection Contact.
- Assign the inspection to a User or Team.
- Assign the inspection to a Shift or Fire Station if applicable.
- Enter any relevant Notes.
- Click Save to finalize the inspection.
