Purpose Statement
The Assets Dashboard provides a centralized view of asset-related activities and responsibilities within the Assets module. From the dashboard, users can quickly access apparatus checks, assigned equipment and kits, scheduled checks, and work orders.
The dashboard helps streamline daily workflows by displaying relevant asset information and providing direct access to commonly used functions.
Background Information
The Assets Dashboard serves as the primary landing page within the Assets module. It provides visibility into assigned assets, scheduled checks, incomplete checks, and work orders from a single location.
Common uses of the Assets Dashboard include:
- Starting scheduled apparatus, station, equipment, and kit checks
- Viewing checks that are due or overdue
- Accessing assigned equipment and kits
- Reviewing incomplete and previous checks
- Monitoring work orders assigned to or submitted by the logged-in user
Some dashboard information is based on the logged-in user's assignments. When the Scheduling module is used, station assignments can also affect the default location displayed on the dashboard.

- Select Assets.
- Select Dashboard.
2. Access My Apparatus
Select My Apparatus to open the overview of your assigned apparatus in Apparatus Checks.
3. Filter Checks by Location
Use the Location filter to change the station displayed on the dashboard.
Important Note:
If the authenticated user has a station assignment defined through the Scheduling module, the first assigned station is loaded by default.

The Due Today section displays scheduled checks that are due that day, regardless of asset type.
Select Start Check to open the applicable checklist.
Important Note:

Troubleshooting & FAQs
Why doesn't an On Demand checklist appear in Due Today?
The Due Today section displays scheduled checks that are due that day. On Demand checklists do not appear in this section. Access the appropriate asset type and select Start Check to view available On Demand checklists.
Why did a completed scheduled checklist disappear from Due Today?
After a scheduled checklist is completed, that scheduled occurrence no longer appears in Due Today. If Auto Create On-Demand Checklist on Completion is enabled, an On Demand version of the checklist remains available from the applicable asset type until the next scheduled occurrence.
Why does a checklist show as On Demand after I completed the scheduled check?
If Auto Create On-Demand Checklist on Completion is enabled under Assets > Setup > Settings, completing a scheduled checklist creates an On Demand version of that checklist. This allows additional checklist submissions until the next scheduled occurrence begins.
Where is the Auto Create On-Demand Checklist on Completion setting located?
Navigate to Assets > Setup > Settings. The Auto Create On-Demand Checklist on Completion toggle controls whether an On Demand version of a scheduled checklist becomes available after its scheduled occurrence is completed.
Why can't I delete a checklist from History?
The ability to delete checklist history is permission-dependent. Contact your First Due administrator if you need access to this action.
Why don't I see anything under Assigned Equipment or Assigned Kit?
These sections display equipment or kits assigned to the logged-in user. If no applicable assets are assigned to your account, these sections may not display assigned assets.
What's the difference between Resume and Join?
Resume continues a checklist that was previously saved as a draft. Join allows you to enter a checklist that another user has already started.
Why isn't a work order displayed in My Work Orders?
My Work Orders displays open work orders assigned to or submitted by the logged-in user. Use the Work Order List when you need to review additional work orders.
Can I start checks from different areas of the dashboard?
Yes. Depending on the asset and checklist, checks can be accessed from Due Today, the asset type tabs, Assigned Equipment, or Assigned Kit.
