Note: AI must be setup as an option for your agency configuration before it can be turned on as a permission. If you turn on the permission and still do not see the icon, please reach out to your Client Success Manager or Support.

Required Permissions
To enable AI generation for users, you must have access to:
- Admin module access
- Roles & Permissions management capabilities
- NFIRS - AI generation permission (located in Incident Reporting > General Group)

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Navigate to the Admin module and select Roles & Permissions.
2. Select the Role to Edit.
In the Actions column, click the pencil icon next to the role you want to modify.
3. Open Incident Reporting Permissions.
From the Permissions tab, select Incident Reporting.
4. Navigate to the General Group and locate the NFIRS - AI generation permission, select Allow to enable that permission.
5. Remember to always select Save to update any changes.
