Topics allow Fire/EMS agencies to organize training content into focused subject areas under broader Categories. Topics serve as the middle tier in the training hierarchy and are used to group Objectives that define specific training outcomes.
In First Due’s training system, the structure follows:
Categories → Topics → Objectives
Topics represent distinct training subjects (e.g., “SCBA Use,” “CPR Techniques”).
Each Topic is linked to one or more Categories and may contain multiple Objectives.
Topics can be created manually or imported in bulk, and they support consistent classification across training programs.
