Restocking Inventory in Apparatus, Stations and Kits

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to inform users hot to utilize First Due's Inventory Restock feature inventory in an apparatus compartment, station storage or kit pouch.

Instruction


1. Click on Assets.

2. Select the appropriate checks view for the apparatus, station, or kit that needs to be restocked.

3. Select the asset containing the compartment, storage or kit that needs to be restocked.

4. Click on Inventory Restock.

5. Select "Add to List".






6. Begin typing the name of the item in the inventory field, then select it from the options that populate beneath it.

7. Select the location where the item needs to be assigned from the dropdown in the "Location Needed" field.






8. Enter the number of items needed in the "Qty" field.






9. Click on Save.

10. A new field will appear, "Restock from". Select the location the item will be pulled from in the dropdown.






11. Another new field, "Location from" will now appear.  Select the view icon below it.






Note:  Multiple quantities of the same item with different expiration dates will be displayed separately. The quantity of each will display to the total quantity by default.






12. Change the quantity to the number of items needed.  Be sure that the quantities do not exceed the quantity needed.

13. Click on Save.

14. Click on Restock.

15. The Undo action is only available while you remain in the asset overview containing the location you are restocking.

16. To restock different items to this asset, select "Add to List", and repeat the steps 6 - 17.





Inventory items may also be added to the Restock List from within a checklist if they are found to be below the minimum value(s) set.
