Resolving QA/QI comments - Crew Members

Resolving QA/QI comments - Crew Members

Purpose Statement

  1. This article demonstrates the process for resolving QA/QI comments from the perspective of the ePCR report author, ensuring proper response to reviewer feedback and maintaining quality documentation standards.

Background Information

  1. The QA/QI comment resolution process allows report authors to address feedback from quality assurance reviewers directly within the ePCR system. This workflow ensures that documentation issues are corrected efficiently while maintaining clear communication between reviewers and field personnel.
  2. When QA/QI reviewers identify areas for improvement or correction in an ePCR, they can leave specific comments tied to individual fields or sections. Report authors can then view these comments, navigate directly to the referenced fields, make necessary corrections, and communicate back to reviewers through the resolution process.

Required Permissions

To complete this task, users need the following First Due permissions:
My EMS Care Reports
  • Read
  • Update
View Other's EMS Care Reports
  1. Allow
These permissions ensure crew members can access their reports, view QA/QI comments, make necessary edits, and update incident status as needed.
