Feature Enhancements
1. Property Demographic Enhancement
What: Expanded data collection capabilities to include additional property demographic information.
Why: To be able to better assess fire safety risks, ensure appropriate inspection protocols and plan for age specific evacuation needs.
How: Access your Community Connect User portal to update information accordingly.
Use Case: Residential (CC) and High Hazard (HH) users will be able to document the following respectively:
Residential (CC) Users:
- Total Number of residences in building
- Building unit count is captured for multi-unit assessment
- Short Term Rental status
- Demographic Data: children (0-5), residents (6-18), and seniors (65+)
High Hazard (HH) Users:
- Building unit count
- Short Term Rental Status
2. Permit Type - User Portal Configuration Enhancement
What: Permits can be made available across all user-facing portals including the new Business Portal.
Why: Consistent permit requirements across all portals.
How: Permits > Permit Type > Select Permit type to configure> in the user portal tab select portal availability.
Use Case: Ability to configure which permit types are available with granular control over portal visibility.
