Scheduling Module Enhancement

  1.  New Personnel List UI

    1. The personnel list interface changed to the new FDSU table style!  Now, you can show/hide all the personnel columns, a new Agency ID filter was added, all the visible columns are sortable, if you want to remove several rows at the same time you can use multiple remove option, or instead you can remove it one by one. In the page lower side, you can manage the pagination, and also there is the export data option (download).




  2. Add District Field to personnel record.

    1. Now you can create Districts and associate users with them. Go to Admin/Departments/Edit department, the new section is under Divisions.



    2. Go to Personnel list/Add or Edit personnel, on the form to add or update personnel, are listed Districts in a dropdown field, and you can select none or one of them to associate with the user.




  3. Adjust Career/Volunteer field (Personnel/Personal Information)

    1.   The field previously called "Career/Volunteer/Call Member" is now called "Employment Status", and 4 more possible values have been added: Full Time, Part Time, Salary Weekly, and Salary.

  4. Start date and ranking

    1.  Two new fields more was added in the personal information, next to “Start date”:  Secondary Date, and Start date ranking (numerical field 1-100)



    2. With the Hours Based setting, and Date of hire as the tiebreaker, the Call shifts logic order will be as follows:

      -Start date, Secondary (if used), and then ranking option.




  5. Secondary Sorting for seniority rankings

    1. Also, in Call shift settings, if Seniority sorting or Date of hire tiebreaker is selected, there is a new toggle below the settings labeled "Use Secondary Start Date".
    2. This option allows a department to sort rankings not by the Start Date (Hire Date) but a secondary Start Date (Promotion Date).



  6. Employment History
    1. A new "Employment history" tab was added for the personnel. Now, users can track different important events that happen to an employee during their tenure. For using this, the “View Employment History" permission is needed.



    2. For this first version we are only registering these events:




  7. Approval of Several own time off

    1. Users who have the "Scheduling - Time Off - Self Approve" permission can request/approve his own time off via Personnel/Time Off menu.




  8. Pay periods- scheduling report

    1. With the Pay periods setting enabled, previously you could only see the current pay period in the payroll reports. Now, the information of all pay periods within the date range you are filtering is displayed.



  9. New Rotations

    1. 3 on / 1 off / 1on / 2 off
    2.  1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 5 off / 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 7 off / 1 on / 1 off



Inspections Map

  1. We released on PROD a change on the inspection map that we display from the inspection list.  Now the icons on the map are being shown based on the status of the inspection and from there you can review it, continue the inspection.  
  2. Users also can use the location button to mark where they are.

Latest Updates
  1. We enhanced the dispatch timing.  users should expect better results on receiving an incident information, closer to real time.  This enhancement will allow users to get the dispatch information in the dispatch list, regardless if the notification has been sent or received in the device for any reason.                    


Incident Reporting

  1. Ability to authorize directly from the incident list in bulk.

    1. First Due has included a new "Authorize" button in the list.  The button will allow the user to  authorize the report directly from the incident list without needing to enter into the record.  This bulk action is only available when the user has the ability to authorize reports, and is activated when selecting reports in the Pending Authorization status.  




  2. Enhancements to the Unit Travel Time Compliance Report

    1. Add custom date option to Date Interval



    2. Make these filters multi-select instead of single select:
      1. Dispatch Incident Type
      2. Apparatus name
      3. Shift




  3. Ability for customer to reset or adjust the next auto number.

    1. In the NFIRS setup, we start showing in the "Generate consecutive incident number" option.  When this option is selected, the last assigned incident number is shown, and the user is allowed to modify it, in order to be able to manage the next incident  numbers that will be assigned. 




  4. Include the option to make required the Apparatus Action Taken.




  5. Consume Controlled Time from CAD via the API

  6. Other Enhancements
    1. Fix Weather ºF temperature value when temperature is below 0 ºC
    2. Change approach to get the incident list for the bulk print
    3. Fix Aiding type support to properly handle values different than 1-5

Assets

  1. Updated Inventory page the new design of Edit Inventory.  Packaging management was added from the SETUP with its corresponding permissions.







  2. The FEMA Cost Code field was added to the Apparatus and Equipment Record, showing the defined codes by default.





  3. New criteria was established to order the Word Order Board: Date, Priority, Assigned User, Asset Name, Asset Number.




  4. We regrouped the data inside the Work Order modal.



  1. Other Enhancements
    1. Add date Ranges to Expiring Items Report
    2. Update Equipment Location with Asset Name and Compartment/Storage
    3. Eliminate needing to click the sign button to sign the inspections.
    4.  Adding new rows from Ad-Hoc reporting to Asset Module.



Mobile App (Android) Update 6.2.3

  1.  First Due has enhanced the dispatch information timing. Users should expect better results on receiving an incident information, closer to real time. This enhancement will allow users to get the dispatch information in the dispatch list, regardless if the notification has not been sent or received for any reason
  2. We enhanced log out process when user has multiple accounts registered.

Mobile App (iOS) Update 5.1.8

  1.  Fixed an issue with the marker size in after being selected in preferences
  2. Added a new setting to handle the screen time out. Now you will be able to navigate more time before your screen turns off.
  3. We enhanced the log out process when user has multiple accounts registered.


EMS Documentation

First Due is happy to announce a very important feature for EMS!
  1. We already have EKG integration for these providers
    1. Stryker/Physio
    2. Zoll
    3. Phillips/Corsium
  2. We are now ready to start receiving cases, which will be available within the EMS reports on the UI for Monitor import that we released last week. 


Scheduling

  1. Search Function for Shift Board

    1. This has added a search box on the upper left of the Shift Board, for filtering by user name, in case you cannot find someone for the day. Available in all 30/7/3/1 views.
    2. The typed name will appear highlighted wherever it appears in the shift board/scheduling deputy.  If the name is not scheduled for the selected day, it should not appear in the dropdown.



  2. Phone number added to the Shift Board tooltip.

    1. Now the tooltip that pops up when you hover over a user in the Sift Board includes their phone number.




  3. Allow for a trade to be deleted from time off.

    1. Before, there was no way to remove a traded shift from the time off portion of the scheduling deputy.  Now you are able to do it.


  4. Time Granularity in Holdover Hours

    1. Now you can set holdover hours typing decimal values.  Allowed values are between 0.01 and 24.00 hours.




  5. New recurrence rules:

    1. 14 on, 14 off
    2. 3 on, 14 off, 4 on, 7 off
    3. 3 on, 25 off
    4. 4 on, 24 off

Assets- Fluid Log

  1. First Due has updated our Fuel Log to now be a comprehensive Fluids Log.  Agencies can now track not only fuel, but also any other fluids they wish to track, such as Diesel Exhaust Fluid, Engine Oil, Hydraulic Oil, etc.

    There is a new role with this function. In order for an agency to manage their fluids, they need Assets>Manage Fluids Types
      







Mobile App (iOS) Update 5.1.7

  1. First Due's new iOS update includes the following:
    1. Added the ability to restrict the user from starting or downloading a re-inspection.
    2. Hide re-inspection reoccurrence dropdown.
    3. Change inspection type default to "              "
This release is mainly for the fire inspection module enhancements and fixes. 


Crewsense Integration

  1. Crewsense integration is live on Incident reporting. Every time a new NFIRS gets created it will pull the data from Crewsense into the apparatus section.  

Be aware for this to work properly personnel records need to have the proper value on API ID field on the UI. Otherwise it will not match apparatus with the proper Call Sign ID

EMS Documentation

  1. UI for Monitor Import

    1. We added a new interface to import cases from medical devices.  A "Monitor Import" button was included to access this new feature. For this button to be displayed, the client must have configured in the setup page, at least one device with serial number. When accessing, a list is shown, filtered by default with the cases received in the last 24 hours. Selecting each case shows 2 columns, one with the vitals records and another with the waveform records. Vitals are displayed grouped at 5-minute intervals.  The selected vitals records will be added into the Vitals tab, and the selected waveform records will be added into the Device tab.











  2. Export Attachments separately to SFTp as separate files.

    1. Since some billing companies are unable to extract attachments from the base64 eotherfile type that we have in NEMSIS, we include an option on the endpoint page to control if attachments are sent as separate files to the endpoints. When this option is selected, in addition to the XML file, a .zip file containing all the report attachments is sent.




  3. Ability to download existing schematron file from UI

    1. In the form to edit the schematron information, we included the option to download the file. Downloading it will obtain a copy of the uploaded file. For the schematrons that were uploaded before this feature, we cannot obtain a copy because they have already been modified. As part of this feature, we keep a copy of the original file from now on.



  4. Redo UI for ePCR list to fit with new list style.

    1. We changed the styles of the ePCR list, according to the new styles defined by the design team.





Preplan new annotation type for ARROW

  1. First Due has included a new Annotation type for drawing Arrows on the map.  There is a limitation currently on the ArcGis map.  The arrow is not supported and only a line can be used there.  



  2. ArcGis ( no arrow just line)



  3. The annotation is being exported also into the annotation layers for all customers.
