Feature Enhancements

Shift Movement Position Selection

  1. What: You can now choose a user's position when using the Shift Movement Feature.
  2. Why: We added this per the request of a department that requested it.
  3. How: Navigate to Shift Board and select a user. When placing the Until Date, the Shift Movement will appear. Turn it on, and you will see the ability to choose the position for the assignment you select.

  1. Use Case: Say you want to ensure that the user is placed in the correct position, this will allow you to do so, without having to verify their position later on.

Auto Approval Rule

  1. What: We've added an Auto Approval Rule, that will automatically approve Time off for you.
  2. Why: This was added per the request of a department.
  3. How: Navigate to Setup > Time Off Settings > Time Off Rules and Add a Rule. You will see the toggle for Auto Approve, and click it on.

  1. Use Case: Your department manages time off, but you don't want to manage it until a certain number of users are off. You can set this up to allow the system to automatically approve Time Off till a certain limit, then after that limit, it will require admin approval.

Default Board view on the Shift Board.

  1. What: You are now able to set a Default Board View on the Shift Board.
  2. Why: This was done per the request of a department.
