Release Notes - Permits Module
In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.
Feature Enhancements
- What: Permits renewed or pending renewal during the inspection
process will be linked to the inspection.
- Why: When the permit is created or renewed during the inspection
it will also link the permit to the inspection and be able to add that criteria
in ad-hoc reporting to show in the criteria.
- How: If
a permit is opened from Inspections > Open Inspection > Permits > Permits with the statuses Renewal Submitted, Renewal Resubmitted, or Renewal Approved are automatically linked to inspections when renewed during the inspection process using the edit button from an inspection.
- Use Case: As
a fire inspector, I want the ability to link a renewed permit (as well as
pending renewal) to an inspection during the renewal process so that the permit
is automatically associated with the inspection. This is important because we
don’t want our inspectors to have to link the renewed permit to the inspection
manually.
