Assets Module

  1. New Features:
    1. Dashboard: Checks Due Today
      1. This Section displays checks scheduled for today. Once a checklist has been completed it is no longer displayed in the dashboard.
      2. Primarily organized by Station, all stations that have a station check or associated Apparatus, Equipment, or Kit check are displayed. The filters are sticky to the logged in user.
      3. Any checklists not associated with a station or apparatus are displayed under "unassigned".
      4. Unscheduled checks are not displayed.

Fire Prevention Module

  1. New Features:
    1. Bulk Send Inspection Reminders
      1. Users can now send inspection reminders of scheduled initial inspections and re-inspections. This can be performed from Inspection List or My Inspections.
      2. New Permission: Fire Inspection - Send Inspection Reminder (Fire Prevention Bucket)
        1. With this enhancement, users who currently have "Fire Inspection - Create" permission were automatically migrated into this new permission. 
 
    1. The reminder email will be sent to the primary occupancy contact for each address.
    2. Criteria to send a reminder: Inspection must be scheduled, primary contact has an email file.
    3. When the user clicks on "Send Reminder" a modal opens allowing management of the message's attachments, subject, and body.
    4. Reminder messages can be saved as templates for later use. Attachments are not saved within the template. This feature supports up to 25 templates.
 

    1. Permit and Inspection Form Builder: Support for six different date formats


    1. Field Management: Edit Occupancy Class List
      1. Users can now edit the Occupancy Class list.
 

  1. Enhancements:
    1. Community Connect: Add CC/HH user as a contact to a requested permit
      1. The main user of the CC/HH account is automatically added as a permit contact.
      2. Occurs when a resident or business owner requests a permit through the CC portal, or when the permit is submitted by an admin through the CC Users page.
 

    1. Inspection - Vendor Signature 
      1. Users can require a Vendor Contact sign the inspection, and display their signature on the Inspection Report.
      2. To enable, select "Vendor Signature" when adding/editing a Vendor Contact within an inspection.
      3. If a Vendor Contact is added, the requirement for an Occupancy Contact is removed. Inspection will require at least one Vendor Contact OR one Occupancy Contact.
 

    1. Permits: Valid Until Revoked Option
      1. When approving a permit, the user can leave the permit without expiration. Creates a new permit with no expiration date.
 

    1. Data Sharing: Responder View & Pre-Plans Map Start Inspection
      1. When a department has Data Sharing enabled, and has been given permission to complete an inspection in another agency's environment, the "Start Inspection" button is now visible on the map.
    2. Occupancy Details Relabel
      1. "Business Address" changed to "Address"


Hydrants

  1. New Features:
  2. Enhancements:
    1. New Hydrant Icons released across both mobile and web.
    2. These hydrant icons are only replacing the default hydrant icons; any custom uploads or other hydrant types are not affected.
    3. Users are now be able to select custom hydrant colors and outlines on the default hydrant type. Users can still configure hydrant colors to be based on flow rate and calculated flow rate results.
    4. These new icons are designed to make the hydrants easier to identify on the map.

Personnel Module

  1. New Features:
  1. Enhancements:
    1. Manual Awarding of Call Shifts
      1. New Setting within Setup -> Call Shift Rules -> Settings
      2. Option to allow only manual awarding of call shifts. Only available if Candidate Method is enabled.
      3. With manual awarding ON, the top candidate(s) are not awarded the shift until an admin selects and awards. Candidates are still automatically ranked per the set call shift ranking rules.
      4. A new "Ready for Awarding" status has been added in conjunction with a "Manually Awarding" page header to assist with tracking.
 
 

    1. Multiple Tiered Call Shifts
      1. Option to allow more than one additional Call Shift Tier, up to five tiers.


    1. Call Shift Assigned Notification
      1. Automatically notify designated users that a call shift has been awarded. Choose from:
        1. The user who created and sent the call shift.
        2. All users with the permission to initiate call shifts.
        3. Users on duty (per shift board assignment)
      2. Only email notifications are supported with the initial version of this enhancement. SMS text notifications are coming soon.
 

    1. Call Shift Default Deadline - New Option
      1. Third option added to Default Deadline - X hours/minutes after call shift starts
      2. Allows for a deadline to be set to award after a specified time frame from initiation as opposed to specific time of day.
      3. When the initiate call shift page is loaded, the deadline datetime will display the current datetime plus hours/minutes defined in Setup.
 


    1. Cancel Call Shift from shift board
      1. New ability to remove an employee from a call shift from the shift board.
      2. When editing a user shift, the delete button will yield two options:
        1. From a call shift: Removes employee completely from assignment and from the call shift. The user status on the Call Shift page will be changed to "Removed." The admin will have the option to notify the user by clicking on "confirm and notify". Clicking "confirm" will not send notification to the employee.
        2. From Assignment: Existing workflow. Clicking this options removed employee from assigned position and the employee will appear again in the "Schedule Deputy / Call Shifts" section to be reassigned. 
      3. The "phone" icon has been changed to a hyperlink that takes the user to the call shift history page in a separate window. 



  1. Associate assignments with Stations
    1. Associate shift board assignments with Fire Stations.
    2. Station list is populated from Assets > Station List.
 

    1. Time Off Deduction Rules
      1. Now able to deduct "2 shifts" per 24 hours time period.
    2. Move Time Off Entry Box
      1. Drag/drop box for time off moved to top of scheduling deputy. Now, when new time off entries are added, they display immediately below the "drop here" box.
 

    1. New Permission: Submenu Access
      1. Show/hide individual module submenu areas by editing permissions per role. **Scheduling - Access Scheduling is still the parent permission that displays the "Personnel" parent menu**

    1. Time Zone field has been moved from individual user settings and changed to a universal department setting. This setting is now internal to the First Due Client Success and Support teams.
