Assets

First Due has released a new feature of Assets:

  1. Inactive boards will not be visible when creating checklist in setup.



  2. The checklists that are incomplete for the current day were included in the Dashboard:




  3. From the App or Equipment update record, you can also edit the incomplete checklist:



  4. The Associate Dispatch Unit field was modified, to load the corresponding dispatch in a selector, it will no longer be required, nor will it allow entering values other than those that exist.



  5. In the form to create/edit Work Order, the Asset selectors were unified in a single component:



  6. In the Asset History Completion report, all responses to all types of questions are shown in the Result column, not just the Pass or False ones:




    Additional bugs fixed:

  7. Listings within Apparatus and Equipment Record have been paginated to improve performance.

  8. The selector for vanilla was modified for the search filter by Inventory Group of the Inventory list.

  9. Adjusted the filter by assignment of the Equipment list with the new UI. Put Stick search in the new list of equipment.

  10. Adjusted filters by date in the Assets History Completion report to display the correct results.

  11. Fixed the filter by apparatus of the Checklist Completion Status report.

  12. Apparatus and Kit Update Status permissions have been adjusted.

  13. Corrected the update of the settings Enable primary/reserve toggle in the Setup.

  14. Fixed the Work Order record to save the Submitted By field.

  15. In the Checklist of the setup, the filter by Name was added and the ordering of the lists was improved.

  16. The overdue checklists will not become missed until they have completed the number of days defined in the SETUP.


Community Connect

  1. First Due as enhanced this module by adding the ability for contacts to be notified by SMS when a new dispatch arrive in.  
  2. Similar it works for Commercial Business (High Hazard) now you can mark a Contact on your residence to receive SMS notification.  




  1. After the user accepts on new dispatches SMS will be received.


Incident Reporting

First Due has Released some new features for Incident Reporting.

1. Interface to create custom special study questions per customer.
On NFRIS setup,  Field Customization tab has been relabeled to "Field Management", and we include a new section for Custom Questions Management.  Custom questions can be created with the following data types:
  • Boolean.
  • Date/Time.
  • List: multi select or single select.
  • Integer/Number: Min value, Max value and Decimal places can be defined.
  • Text/String: Min characters and Max characters can be defined.












After a custom question is used in a report, it cannot be deleted, only disabled.


2.  API Support for new fields:
  • Aid Type
  • Scene Zip Code.

Other Updates

  1. Fix bug with personnel in apparatus list. .
  2. Fixes on Department page.
  3. Fix error when trying to access incident list.  






Mobile App (iOS) 5.1.6

- Enhanced dispatch details view by showing hydrants location on details map. 


- Added special login for following clients: Anne Arundel County, Westbrook FD, Monterey, Saco Fire and Pasadena. 


-Fixed an issue with fire inspection text fields capitalization.

Device position sharing/mobile app

First Due has released two options to allow users on the mobile app to see units that does not belong to their account
  • County data sharing
    • This one is to see units and their location form other counties.  
    • This option needs to be setup under County Data Sharing page (under Admin menu) 

    • Below you can see that King County units  will see units from Fairfax.
       

  • Share units devices location within a county

  • This one will turn ON to every devices within the county to send his device location. All users will be able to see the units on the map and on the unit list on the app.

     An example:


  •  Currently there is not way to turn it off for a single client/user 


Hydrants/Fire inspection


  1. Gives users the ability to store the result of calculation of hydrant flow test on  other column than flow rate. 

  2. When users perform a flow test using our tool the result will be stored in that column instead of old flow rate.



  1. Initially all hydrants will start with the same value until they start to use the Flow test tool.

  1. Also in service checklist has added a question to match with this field.

  2. For Fire inspection First Due, released a new permission to allow a user to be assigned to an inspection.  This will reduce the amount of users visible on the users lookup.   However take into account that  if an inspection is already assigned to a user that do not have this permission this user will be still assigned to the inspection, unless someone changed it

  1. For Hydrants , we have released a few filters on the list and the ability to connect existing Hydrants to Station, Shift, Apparatus and users.  We also include the OUT of service icon for any type of hydrants to show on the map


Mobile App (iOS) Release 5.1.5

Mobile App (Android) Release 6.1.8 



A new version of the First Due mobile app is available for iOS and Android. This is a critical update. To ensure optimal performance please download it immediately. 

You do not need to uninstall the First Due app on your mobile device. At a minimum, you will need to close and reopen the First Due app to allow for an update.

ePCR

ePCR Statuses
  1. In Incident Documentation > EMS Setup > Incident Status, agencies can now create custom ePCR statuses. The automated workflow will remain In Progress > Provider Completed, but users with the "Manage EMS Status" permission can change the ePCR to a custom status. 






Status Filter and Bulk Change Status Button
  1. In Incident Documentation > EMS Incident List, there is now a filter for Incident Status. There is also the ability to bulk change the Incident Status of one or more ePCRs. This function requires the "Manage EMS Status" permission.



Manually Export ePCRs
  1. XML files of completed ePCRs can now be manually exported if needed. Selected incidents will compile into a NEMSIS-formatted file. The file will download immediately to your download (or default download) folder.  To use this function, a user must have the "Export Care Report" permission.





Organized ePCR Times
  1. The ePCR time sare now organized in a more uniform (columnar) arrangement.



Additional ePCR Updates

  • Ability to save vitals without filling out every required field.

  • Alphabetize crew member list in Crew Grid



  • Incident Documentation Module

    Setting Default Number of Personnel for Apparatus Record
    1. A new setting in Incidents Documentation > NFIRS Setup > Response > Resources enables the system to populate the "# of People" field for apparatus date received via CAD, or if a manually added incident, the number of personnel set in the "Normal Staffing Level" field on the Apparatus Page.















    Prescriptive (Auto) Narratives
    1. Agencies can now build prescripted (auto) narratives for Incident reports by navigating to Incident Documentation > NFIRS Setup > Narrative Templates to create narratives that can be selected for the following: NFIRS - General and Unit Narratives; EMS - EMS Narratives.











    Invoicing Module

    1. Added Default Recipients feature for outgoing invoices (Invoicing > Invoice Setup > Email).



    Permits Module

    Permits form Builder

    1. First Due has released enhancements to the module adding the Form builder utility.  For now this is only for Permit forms not for Multi permit Form.  This works similar to Inspection Form builder. 


    1. You need to create the form template and then on the permit types to related both of them.




      A migration was done to convert all previous forms to a new template. These is nothing that is required on the end users end.


    Personnel Module

    Manual Reordering of Rankings List
    1. For those with the permission to edit the Rankings List, there is a now the ability to manually reorder the Rankings List. (Personnel > Call Shifts > Rankings).


    Unassigned Users Updates
    1. In Personnel > Shift Board, unassigned users can now be added to a rotation using the  button. These users will show as unassigned in Scheduling Deputy. The unassigned user can request time off, trades and have a Kelly Day assigned.


    Multi-Select Groups for Call Shifts
    1. For Call Shifts, you can now multi-select Groups per position.




    Manual Sorting of Work Type and Time Off Types Subtypes
    1. Added ability to manually sort Work Type Subtypes and Time Off Type Subtypes (Personnel >Setup > Work Types or Time Off Types)



    New Recurrence Rules Added

  • 5 on / 2 off / 4 on / 3 off
  • 5 on / 3 off / 4 on / 2 off
  • 3 on / 6 off


  • Preplanning Module

    New Fields
