Release Notes - June 2022

  1. Significant enhancements to the user interface include more room for the main map, more intuitive interface, and easier access to features.

ePCR

Autosave ePCR
  1. The ePCR will now autosave every two minutes as long as there are changes. It will also alert you when you manually attempt to save and there are no changes since the last manual or autosave.


Internet Disconnect / Reconnect Alerts
  1.  If the internet connection is lost while completing an ePCR, the report writer will see an alert in the lower right corner of the screen. Likewise, once the internet connection is restored, an alert will also appear.








Events

Hybrid View for Events
  1. We've added a new "hybrid" view to Activities (Events > Activities > Hybrid). This view displays a highly readable "daily log" summary of your activities for the day.





Create Recurring Events
  1. You can now create recurring events (Events > Event List > Create Recurring Event) with a variety of recurrence types (e.g.,  every third Tuesday, custom monthly, etc.).








Incident Documentation Module

New Permissions for Workflow Management
  1. The following permissions are now available for the Incident Documentation Module (Admin > Roles > Select a Role > Incident Reporting Table):
    1. View My Fire Incidents - Enables users to view incomplete or pending fire (NFIRS) incidents where they were a crew member, officer in charge, member completing the report, or an incident created by the user.
    2. View Others' Fire Incidents - Enables users to all view incomplete or pending fire (NFIRS) incidents.
    3. View Authorized Reports -  Enables users to open and view authorized incidents.



Redact Provider Names
  1. You can now redact provider names from the PDF version of the incident report (Incident Documentation > Fire Incident List > Select Incident to Print).




"Helper" Function for "Actual Incident Type Found" Field
  1. A new "helper" is now available to enable agencies to add explanatory details regarding incident types (Incident Documentation > Field Customization > Select "New Custom Field" or Edit custom field: MUST be "Basic Module | Section C | Actual Incident Type Found").  
    1. Check the box: "Show Helper Function for Incident Report".
    2. In the Actions column, select .
    3. Update the fields per your agency policy/procedure.
    4. The helper for "Actual Incident Type Found" will be enabled in an incident report.














Added "Response Mode" for Responding Apparatus
  1. Added optional field, "Response Mode" for responding apparatus (Incident Documentation > Fire Incident List > Select Incident > Response > Resources > Apparatus > Select/Add an Apparatus).





Require a Signature for NFIRS Reports
  1. A signature can now be required for completion of an NFIRS report. To enable this feature, navigate to Incident Documentation > NFIRS Setup > Wrap Up > Signatures.

Added General Narrative Column
  1. There's a new "General Narrative" column available in the incident list (Incident Documentation > Fire Incident List) for viewing and sorting: To display this column, navigate to the "Visible Columns" dropdown and select "General Narrative".




Inspections

Quickly Re-order Inspection Checklist Questions
  1. Re-order both the checklist sections and questions using the  icon (Inspections > Inspections Types > Select an Inspection Type > Edit Checklist).




New Setting: View Previous Inspections Pop-Up
  1. There is a new setting to disable viewing the list of previous pending inspections when starting a new or scheduled inspection (Inspections > Inspection Setup > System Options).

     


New Permission for Pre-Plan Organizer
  1. A new permission, "Edit Pre-Plan Organizer", when enabled for a role, allows the user to perform the following operations:
    1. Mark / Unmark Target Hazard
    2. Assign To
    3. Change Due Date
    4. Change Cycle





Pre-Planning

Add Hyperlink to Pre-Plan Units
  1. Hyperlinks can be added to the "Description" field for pre-plan and hazmat units. The links are active and accessible directly from the pre-plan.








Reports Module

Heat Map Report: Incident Type Multi-Picker Added
  1. Incident Type multi-picker added to the Incident Heat Map Report (Reports > Incidents > Heat Map). Select Advanced Search to reveal it.






Scheduling Module

Added Start/Stop Time to My Shifts Availability
  1. Within My Shifts (Personnel > My Shifts), personnel can now submit the time period they are available in addition to the date. Their availability will now show hours in the Shift Board Scheduling Deputy (second image below).






Delete Individual Kelly Days
  1. You can now delete individual Kelly Days via the Scheduling Deputy. Deleting a Kelly Day will restore that person's assignment on the Shift Board (Personnel > Shift Board). This feature requires the following permission: "Scheduling - Time Off - Approve/Deny" (Admin > Roles > Select Role > Scheduling Permissions Table).



New Shift Trade Settings
  1. You can now set a default Work Type when someone is working a trade (e.g., "Trade ON") and set a default Time Off Type when someone is off due to a trade (e.g., "Trade OFF") (Personnel > Setup > Settings > Trade Settings).

Reverse Trade In Reports Feature
  1. Also in this section is a new slider: "Reverse Trade in Reports". When this is enabled, scheduling reports (Reports > Scheduling) will display with a yellow indicator showing this feature is enabled (second image below). When this feature is enabled, scheduling reports will display the time off/time on status BEFORE shift trades occurred.







Added New Recurrence Rules
  1. New recurrence rules are available (Personnel > Setup > Rotations > Select a Rotation > Recurrence Rule Dropdown):
    1. 4 on / 4 off
    2. 1 on / 3 off / 1 on / 2 off
    3. 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 1 off / 1on / 2 off / 1 on / 4 off / 1 on / 2 off / 1 on / 1 off




New Validation Tool for Payroll Management
  1. A new validation tool added to the Shift Board (1-Day view only) enables scheduling chiefs/managers to validate one or more assignments at time (Personnel > Shift Board). This new feature directly impacts the Payroll Report (Reports > Scheduling > Payroll). This now has a new filter and column in the report itself to identify validated personnel work assignments. Look for a detailed KBA soon.










    GOOD TO KNOW: In order to validate an assignment, a user must have this permission:


Add Emergency Contact(s) to Personnel Record
  1. Administrators can now add up to two (2) emergency contacts for personnel (Personnel > Personnel List > Select a person > Emergency Contact tab). Select the  to add an emergency contact (each contact must have at least one phone number). Medical Contact info can be added below the emergency contacts.





    GOOD TO KNOW:  To manage Emergency Contact Info, a user must have this permission:



New Field for Member Type
  1. You can now select "Call Member" for personnel (Personnel > Personnel List > Select a Person).



Warning Prompt When Changing Personnel Rotation
  1. Whenever you change the end date for a person's rotation, there is a new alert prompting you to take action regarding time off and trades (Shift Board > Select a Person > Change End Date for Rotation).
