In order to provide you with more detailed information on our updates we have broken the Release Notes down by module.
New Features
Allow to Print new investigators via Form Builder
What: Now we allow printing ALL the investigators documented in a report via Form Builder. This includes the signature which will be printed like a picture next to the investigators' information.
Why: This is the continuation of a previous feature where we implemented the ability to add more than one investigator to Findings under the Hypothesis and Conclusion section.
How:
Add a Fire Investigation Table to your Form.
Select Investigator from the drop down list.
Includes any user entered into the Add Investigator Information section only.
Investigations Audit Log
What: We have implemented an audit log of changes made against an investigation record.
How: We have a new button on the Investigations list view under the Actions column for Investigations Records logs.
Use Case:
Here are the items that we are going to track:
User who Creates the record.
User who opens the record to view it.
User who printed/generated print report of the record.
User who Completes the Report.
User who Marked Record Incomplete.
Any time the record is Downloaded.
Water Meter reading and Service options
What: We added the ability to capture the Water Meter reading and Service level when adding Utilities for Structure Fires.
How:
There are two new fields about Utility Comments within the Create Utility modal under Scene Information/utilities with the following labels:
Water Meter Reading: a free text field that allows numeric and decimal values.
Service: 3 radials with the options of None, Off, and On (similar to what we have for Gas/Fuel)
These fields are visible when Type of Utility = "Water"
Use Case:To document the Water Meter reading and status of water service to a structure fire investigation.
Ability to link multiple investigations together
What: We added the ability to link multiple investigations showing a spot where users can open up “linked” investigations together.
How:
We have a new link component within the header section
When clicking the new link component, a modal appears to look up an investigation by the following data:
Investigation Number
Investigation Type
Location
Date
Have the ability to select one or multiple investigations.
Actions include Editing and Viewing the existing investigations returned in the list
Both actions will take you to the respective investigation record
When clicking on "Link", the selected investigations will appear in a dropdown below the new component within the header section
When displaying the Linked Investigations, we can list, edit/view, and remove the record from the linked list via the dropdown within the header section
When hitting in edit or view icon, the actual record selected is opened and the linked records drop-down will show the actual records linked to the current report, not the old list for the previous report
When hitting on the unlink option we will show the following confirmation message "Do you want to unlink the Fire Investigation?"
After confirming the report will get unlinked. with the message “Link with Fire Investigation(s) removed”.
Use Case:The purpose of the feature is to link various fire investigations to one another to display interrelationships between investigations at multiple sites.
Fixes
What: Made some minor fixes in the Investigations Form Builder
What: Change the Type of Occupancy measurements from M to Ft
What: Allow Temperature Field in Weather conditions to exceed 100
