Feature Enhancements
Display "0" Values in All Checklist Item Response
Types and Field Updates
- What: When a user selects or enters "0" in any checklist
item response type, the "0" value is displayed in the inspection
report (without the quotes).
- Why: As a fire inspector, I need the system to display and
process "0" values accurately across all checklist item response
types and field updates so that all recorded data is reflected correctly in
reports, validations, and workflows, ensuring reliable documentation and
seamless system operations.
- How: No set-up required.
- Use Case: "0" values are displayed and processed correctly
for the following response types:
- Single Select
- Multi Select
- Standard Inspection
- Free
Text
- Custom Response
Remove the Default from the Assigned to Team drop-down list
in the Inspection Type Set-up
- What: Remove the Default from the Assigned to Team drop-down list
in the Inspection Type Set-up.
- Why: The next initial inspection was changed to the Signed in User by default, causing inspections to be scheduled for the last Inspector, not the assigned Team as desired.
- How: When setting up a new Inspection Type, the field is now required and the user must select 1) Changed to Logged In User, or 2) Keep the Original Assigned to (either a User or Fire Prevention Team).
- Use Case: This setting will schedule the next Initial Inspection to the signed in user or retain the Assigned Inspector or Team as selected by the user setting up the Inspection Type.

Enable Bulk Permit Renewal ReSubmission for automatic permits in Inspection Module
- What: Bulk Permit Renewal ReSubmission for automatic permits in Inspection Module
- Why: As a Fire Department (FD) User, I need the ability to renew
multiple permits linked to an occupancy from an inspection that I am currently
performing. This will allow me to efficiently submit renewals in bulk, update
permit statuses, and trigger automated actions upon inspection completion.
- How: If a Permit Renewal is Rejected while recording the Inspection, the feature will allow it to be Resubmitted for approval.
- Use Case: When "Renewal Submitted" is selected, the status
of each selected permits is updated to "Renewal Submitted" or
“Renewal Resubmission” accordingly.
