Occupancy - Display Primary External Occupancy ID in Occupancy Records
What: We’ve updated the External Occupancy ID display in occupancy records to help users see the correct ID more easily.
Why: When they open an occupancy record, it will show the primary External Occupancy ID if one is marked.
How: Primary ID Display: The occupancy record will display the External Occupancy ID marked as "primary." If no primary is set, the system will display one of the available IDs. Note: External Occupancy IDs are added directly to the database and cannot be added or updated from the user interface.
Add an option for 'Unassigned' in the 'Assigned to' list in Advanced Search for the Inspections List and My Inspections pages.
What: Option for 'Unassigned' in the 'Assigned to' list.
Inspections List and My Inspections advanced search.
Why: In systems where inspections are logged, each inspection is
usually assigned to an individual inspector or team responsible for completing
it. However, some inspections might remain unassigned due to scheduling issues,
availability, or task allocation workflows.
How: In the "Assigned to" column or field of the
Inspections List, there would be a filter dropdown or search functionality that
includes "Unassigned" as a filter option for the ‘user’ and ‘team’.
Use Case: When the "Unassigned" filter is selected, the list
will display only inspections that have no user or team assigned to them.
Inspection Level - Ensure that schedulers cannot schedule or
modify inspections where the assigned inspector lacks the 'update' permission
for the specific inspection type.
What: On the Inspections Organizer and Inspection List, when a
scheduler tries to schedule an inspection (assigning an inspector), the system
must verify that the selected inspector has the 'update' permission for the
relevant inspection type.
If the
inspector does not have the necessary permission, the system should display a
message and prevent scheduling.
Message:
"Cannot assign inspector: The selected inspector does not have 'update'
permission for this inspection type. Review the permission in Field
Management."
Why: Schedulers should not be able to modify the schedule of an inspection if the assigned inspector does not have 'update' permission for the inspection type.
How: The "Update" permission is controlled in Admin > Field Management > Inspection Levels
Use Case: When
a scheduler attempts to assign an inspection to an inspector who lacks the
necessary 'update' permission for that specific inspection type, the system will
display a clear and error message.
