Activities

  1. New Events workflow.  Instead of displaying a modal when we want to adda new event, it displays a page similar to the one for adding Training Classes.

  2. The data is similar to what we had before. The way to create a recurrent event has changed, from the same UI (adding a new event) you will find a toggle button where you can set whether it is recurrent or not. Once enabled, the field to configure the recurrence type is displayed.

  3. Another important change is how to add assignees to the event. Now we have a new tab "Attendee" to manage it. (Same as Training classes as well)

  4. The Eligible Sign Up provides the ability to register users for an event. The statuses handled for attendees are: requested, accepted, or denied. You can update the statuses individually or in bulk.

    • File extension in Permit Report sent by email.
    • Order of columns in tables with Saved views.

Scheduling

  1. Save Function Buttons
This is a big one.  Previously we were only allowing users to change every single instance of a user rotation.  It is very often the case that an admin might want to change only a select date, or the selected and future dates of a user rotation (e.g., change one day's work type to Overtime, or change the Project Code of a user rotation from today forward).
Now, when editing a user rotation, and clicking Save or Delete, three radio options are displayed: This Date, This Date and Followings, and All Occurrences.

  2. Manual adjustment to trade.
-Now, you are able to add manual adjustment to the trades register
    -New permissions related:
    - Scheduling - Trades - Update Own History Registers (The user who only has this permission will ONLY be able to add his own manual trades with other users, NOT third-party users)

    - Scheduling - Trades - Update History Registers (The user is able to add his own manual trades with other users and for third-party users between them)
    -
Manual trades will NOT be displayed on the shift board, and are unrelated to Payroll Reports. It will be identified by an icon with a little man on the Register History Page.

  3. "Non-Shift" Work types
-We added a new feature allowing certain work types overlaps with other work shifts / user rotations. The user can be on their regular rotation and e.g. On-Call at the same time on the Shift Board
-A new toggle in the Add/Edit Work Type page with the label "Is Shift type?" was added for this purpose. If disabled, it is a non-shift type. (Enabled by default)

  4. Bulk Add Users to Off Roster
-You can now add users in bulk in the Add/Edit Off-Roster modal.

  5. Call Shifts Count
-When initiating a Call Shift, the admin can see the total count of users who signed up for availability. They also can see those users indicated in the contact list.

-Only apply if "Ignore Availability" is checked in the call shift form.

-A green check mark (with a tooltip on mouse over) appears before the user's name (both in the call shift preview and in the history details).

  6. Up-Coming Shift Reminder
-This feature is useful for those employees who would like to be reminded of their upcoming shifts, especially for certain work types. You should enable the "Shift Reminders" setting, set the hours before shift (min->1 hr., max->168 hours (1 week)), and what work types for.

-You can check the reminders history on the Messaging/History menu.

  7. Print Options Update
-More convenient filtering is allowed when printing from the Shift Board. Added option to filter by active/existing boards.

  8. New Occurrence Rules
    • 4 on / 10 off
    • 4 on / 4 off / 3 on / 4 off / 3 on / 3 off
    • 1 on / 6 off / 1 on / 13 off
    • 5 on / 2 off / 2 on / 5 off
    • 2 on / 2 off / 5 on / 5 off

  3. Support multiple dAgency.01, dAgency.02 values for single state.

  4. Provide a list of all values and allow for sorting and Activation
We include a "Values" section in the Field customization form, for the fields that are lists.  From this new section you can activate/deactivate values from the list or change the order in which they will be displayed in the report.  Inactivated values will still display the correct value on older incident records, they just won't be available going forward to select.
