Feature Enhancements
What: Community Connect Residential or High Hazard (Business) users can now change their email address.
Why: Email addresses sometimes need to be updated or changed in the system, and this gives the end user the ability to do it themselves.
How: CC Users need to login to their Community Connect portal and select Edit in the My Info tile. Click the new pencil icon next to their email address to start the process. Only one email address is allowed per account though and the system will alert you if the new email address is already in use.
Use Case: If a user signs up using their Yahoo email address, but later opens a Gmail account, they can then change their email in their CC account.
Note: You will need to re-enter your password and then enter a verification code from the original email address in order to make the change for security purposes.
New Features
What: Community Connect Users (CC & HH) have a new tile on their dashboard to add attachments.
Why: It is a place to add photos or documents that they want to keep in their account that are not associated with any other information tile.
How: Go to your citizen Community Connect account and click on the tile for Attachments. Upload an attachment in the space provided.
Use Case: My business is located in a historic building and I want to upload the historic certificate associated with it. Or for residential you could upload your family's escape plan and meeting area map in the event of an emergency like a fire.
