New Features
Added "View Roster" button to Options menu on the Command Board
What: Added View Roster button to the existing Options Dropdown Menu button for streamlined access to multiple functions. "View Roster" button will generate a modal displaying the current roster for quick reference.
Why: This new option will:
Improved accessibility to the current roster, allowing for quick personnel checks
Streamlined interface with a multi-functional dropdown menu, reducing clutter and enhancing usability
Faster decision-making with readily available roster information
How: No changes necessary on the user or admin side.
Use Case: Command Board Users can now easily see the crews assigned to the current apparatus within their incident by selecting the View Roster Button. This gives better accountability and Situational Awareness to the Command Board User through an easily accessible interface.
Improved Permission Management for Incident Command Logs and Notes
What: New permission added: "Incident Command - Add to Log/Notes"Users with the appropriate permission can now add notes and edit logs for open incidents New notes are now highlighted in the notes section on the Command Board
Why: This visual indicator helps Incident Commanders easily identify unread notes, ensuring important updates are not missed
How: Enter the Admin Module then select roles. Select the Role that this permission will be added, then open the Response Permission bucket and ensure that "Incident Command - Add to Log/Notes" is selected.
Use Case: Clarified permissions ensure only authorized users can make changes to logs and notes during ongoing incidents
Feature Enhancements
Streamlined Assignment Selection on Command Board
What: Users can now quickly select from a list of assignments created during setup. The ability to create custom assignments on-the-fly is preserved and Users can still input unique assignments as needed, maintaining flexibility
Why: Streamlines the process of assigning tasks during time-sensitive situations
How: No changes necessary on the user or admin side.
Use Case: During an incident, Command Board Users can select the assignment based on the predetermined assignments on the fly while staying in the Command Board main screen. This means that additional assignments can be added to templates easily during incidents in real time.
Dispatch API Update for Alarm Level Field
What: Updated the API structure to accommodate specific changes for the field.
Why: Enhanced data handling and processing for alarm levels
How: No changes necessary on the user or admin side.
Use Case: When Departments are utilizing the command board and initiate an alarm upgrade from the base dispatched alarm
